Services Make a Difference
I love to see living, working, and thinking across border as an enduring opportunity to observe and serve; to learn from and work with; and to co-create transformative experiences with students, colleagues, mentors, collaborators, and friends, among many others, especially those underrepresented and marginalized. All the communal services have stretched and challenged my ways of thinking, exposing me to people’s diverse and even conflicting ideas that I would not have otherwise encountered—some of which have found their way into and stimulated both my scholarship and teaching.
